Ray Deweese, 74, of Paducah died on Sunday September 14, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Deweese was retired from the U.S. Army.
Surviving is his wife, Nancy Deweese of Paducah; two sons, Waymond Nicholas of Jacksonville, FL, Alton Deweese Jr. of AL; three daughters, Jenna Adams of Seminole, FL, Belinda Frank of Middleburg, FL, Kimberly Mitchum of Benton, KY; four brothers, Gene Deweese of TN, Hubert Deweese of IN, Joe Dale Deweese of FL, and Donnie Deweese of Paducah; one sister, Linda Watkins of Draffenville; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Noble Deweese and Alda Deweese; one son; and one daughter.
Services will be at 11:00am on Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. David Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
