Alice M. Gipson, age 83, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 1:56 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Gipson was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and was a retired Registered Nurse with Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Gipson is survived by her husband, James V. Gipson Sr.; two sons, James V. Gipson Jr. of Paducah, KY and Ronald D. Gipson and wife Michele of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, James Daniel Gipson of Conyers, GA, Lisa Gipson of Paducah, KY and Stacy Gipson of Gainesville, GA; five great grandchildren, Brooklyn Gipson, Maliayah Gipson, J.T. Gipson, Grayson Gipson and Harley Gipson; four sisters, Jackie Corlis of Freeport, ME, Helen Leedham of California, Carol Gandy of Panama City, FL and Phyllis McDade of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin Crone, Floyd Crone, Arnold Crone and Hayzen Crone. Her parents were, Ralph Wendell Crone and Elizabeth Jane Muir Crone.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will be held at a later date at Brooks Memorial Park.
