Alice G Courtney, 86, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Courtney was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She was a a beloved wife, mother and homemaker.
Mrs. Courtney is survived by a daughter, Nancy Deweese and husband, Jimmy of Paducah; a son, Larry Courtney and wife, Pam of Paducah; four grandchildren, Amy Burnett, Joey Courtney, Amanda Hammonds and Jared Courtney all of Paducah; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maragret Rust of Michigan and Joyce Gibson of Paducah; a sister-in-law, Ruby Gibson of Melber; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Courtney; a daughter, Tammy Courtney; two sisters, Rudy Mitchell and Merle Flournoy; a brother, Billy Gibson. Her parents were Herbert and Cleda Fay Keeling Gibson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Nolen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11 -1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
