Vivian Buckingham Sills, 101, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Sills was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah where she taught Ladies Adult Sunday School and was a past member of Baptist Tabernacle. She was a Duchess of Paducah, a member of McCracken Co. Homemakers and Women On Mission Organization. Mrs. Sills was a homemaker and a pastors wife.
The Sills family would like to extend their apprecation to Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation for the care they had given to Vivian over the last 4 years.
Vivian is survived by her two daughters, Geneva Ann Sills Ellington and husband Joel of Paducah, KY and Cyndi Sills Reynolds and husband Edwin of Blairsville, GA; son, Dan Sills and wife Jane of Calvert City, KY; eight grandchildren, Sheila Ellington Koster (Kent) of Paducah, KY, Shane Ellington (Lee Alice), Shannon Ellington (Tonya) and Sheldon Ellington (Teri) all of the Hardmoney Community, Alan Sills (Alison) of Cumming, GA, Daron Sills (Lisa) of Calvert City, KY, Delmon Worden of Monte Rio, CA and Scot Vensel of Cazadero, CA; sixteen great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Barner D. Sills; three sisters, Inez Buckingham Rodocker, Bobbie Morris Meade and Reba Buckingham Wallace. Her parents were Robert Sydney Buckingham and Geneva Reber Buckingham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
