Mr. William Anthony "Tony" Williams, age 70 of Benton, KY died on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. He was a member of the IBEW Local 816, and retired from TVA Shawnee Steam Plant where he worked as a Senior Instrument Mechanic.
Born Tuesday, September 17, 1946 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late Elwin Grant Williams and the late Mary Neale (Stanley) Williams.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Terri Lee (Culp) Williams of Benton, KY, sons, Justin Williams, wife Tammy Vaughan of Benton, KY and Josh Williams, wife Dani (Flowers) Williams of Dickson, TN, and grandchildren, Paige Wilkins, Brooke Wilkins, Weldon Grant Williams, Whitley Neale Williams, and Wyatt Augustus Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Stan Williams and Reggie Williams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Wade Gillespie and Dr. Gene Gilliland officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer- supporting St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 1434 S. 3 Bandk Rd., Galena, OH 43021.
