Thelma Katherine White, 88, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on December 30th, 2017 at Ridgewood Terrace Rehabilitation Center.
Thelma was born in Wickliffe, KY on June 2nd, 1929 to John Boyd Pool and Navada Cothran Pool. She was a member of the Ohio Valley Baptist Church and the North Ballard Chapter of the Bandana Eastern Star. Thelma can best be remembered as a loving and devoted mother to her two daughters, who were the most important parts of her life.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann Cansler and husband Mickey of Madisonville, KY and Brenda Ashcraft and husband Floyd of Gage, KY; one sister, Betty Koen of Fenton, MI; one adopted daughter, Sharon Iliohan of Madisonville, KY and one adopted granddaughter, Amelia Iliohan of Madisonville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, James Crabtree and her second husband of 20 years, Prentice White; her parents, John and Navada Pool; two sisters, Kitty Ann Horn and Rosie Lawrence; and six brothers, John Lee Pool, Morris Pool, Joe Pool, Adley Pool, Henry Pool and Jim Pool.
Funeral services will be held at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe, KY at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 with Bro. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe, KY.
Visitation will be held at the Wickliffe funeral home on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service.
