Mrs. Sudie Nell Whybark, age 86 of Benton, KY passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Monday, April 7, 1930 in Calloway Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late John Rufus "J.R." Colson and the late Ruth (Wilkinson) Colson. She was the wife of late William Arthor "Bill" Whybark, Jr.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Unity Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are sons, Billy Whybark, wife Linda of Gilbertsville, KY and Tony Whybark, wife Pam of Benton, KY, daughter, Debby Washam husband Eddie of Benton, KY, brothers, Larry Colson of East Prairie, MO and Pat Colson of East Prairie, MO; grandchildren; Ben Washam, Brian L. Whybark, Brad S. Whybark, Jared Whybark, Jana Crider, Keith Henson, Amy Whisman, Kelly Cornwell and Karrie Whybark, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Johnny Whybark, brothers, Buel Colson, Thomas Colson, Jackie Colson and Joe Colson, sister, Virginia Coffer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. James Lawson officiating. Interment will follow the services in the Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
