Shirley Shackelford, age 82, of Benton, Kentucky and formerly of Paducah passed away at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, July 8,2018 at Lakeway Nursing & Rehab in Benton, KY. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Benton. She formerly worked at “ Wee Little People Day Care”.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Ann Pace, Benton; one brother, Gerald Murdock of Kirskey, KY; one grandson, Shane Craig Pace, Benton, KY; two step-grandsons; one step-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were parents, Philip Andrew Murdock & Beauton Mayfield Murdock; one son Keith Alvin Shackelford, three brothers; son-in-law, Gary Pace.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Larry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
