Ms. Shirley Ann Holsapple, age 79 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.
Born Friday, March 31, 1939 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie D. Jones and the late Ouida Mae (Rudd) Jones. She was a retired clerk from J and R Pharmacy and the Marshall County Detention Center in Benton, KY and. She was a member of Church Grove United Methodist Church, Benton, KY.
Surviving are sons, Kevin Holsapple, wife Jodi of Benton, KY and David Barker, wife Ruthie of Benton, KY, daughters, Sherry Darnall of Benton, KY and Tina Neal of Benton, KY, sister, Nancy Dick of Benton, KY, former husband and caregiver, Charles Barker of Benton, KY, grandchildren; Holli Powell, Ryne Rickman, wife Allison, Wesley Neal, Whitley Vance, Hanna Holsapple, Skyler Holsapple and Bradley Barker, one great granddaughter, Chelsea Powell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. David Garrett, Lance Cordle and Gary Knuckles will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dowdy Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
