Shayla Gail Hamby, 43 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked for 15 years at Falder's Farm and Home in Mayfield as a Bookkeeper.
Born Thursday, July 29, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Keith Wayne Turner.
Surviving are her husband, David Hamby of Benton, KY; mother, Linda (Jeffers) Pegram of Paducah, KY; sons, Nathan Stamps of Symsonia, KY, Dustin Hamby of Benton, KY, sister, Keitha Lyle of Symsonia, KY; grandchildren, Caiden Keith Stamps and Carter Goin both of Symsonia, KY; and special niece and nephew, Amanda and Matt.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Mike Littrell officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamby Family Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
