Mrs. Sara E. Noles, age 97 of Calvert City, KY passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home.
Born Wednesday, February 25, 1920 in Grand Rivers, KY, she was the daughter of the late Alec Stafford and the late Jenny (Jones) Stafford. She was best known for her generous spirit and her kindness to all people. She will be remembered for her love of her family and her devotion to the Lord. She was a long time member of the Calvert City Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Rudell Noles of Calvert City, KY, son, Billy Walker, wife Ramona Dunn Walker of Calvert City, KY, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, John R. Stafford, Kelly Stafford, Bill Stafford, Holland Stafford and Murrell Stafford, sisters, Inez Watkins and Anna Lou Stafford.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Lance Cordle will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
