Ronnie Burdett, 66 of Symsonia, Kentucky died on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at his home in Symsonia, Kentucky. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was retired from Pullen Trucking Company.
Born Monday, June 28, 1948 in Molden, Alabama, he was the son of the late Albon Burdett and the late Eunice (Buckelew) Burdett.
Surviving are sons, Ronnie Burdett, Jr. and Chris Bell of Paducah, KY, daughter, Angeline "Angie" Burdett of Romulus, MI, brother, Jim Burdett of Symsonia, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Toby Burdett, and sisters, Maxine Phillips, Abby Cole and Melba Jean Hollums.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Jack Kee officiating.
Interment will follow in Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Collier Funeral Home.
