Mr. William Richard Musgrave, age 93 of Paducah, KY passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Born Sunday, October 21, 1923 in Martinsville, IN, he was the son of the late Jacob Ray Musgrave and the late Opal (St. John) Musgrave. He retired after 20 years of service with the North Marshall Water District. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was awarded 2 Purple Heart Medals for injuries sustained during his service. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Irene (Williams) Musgrave of Paducah, KY, children; Linda Clark, husband Don of Martinsville, IN, Michael Musgrave, wife Sherry of Gilbertsville, KY, Ray Musgrave, wife Louise of Paducah, KY, Rebecca Turner and Jerry of Benton, KY, Lisa Buford of Calvert City, KY.; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 45 years, Geraldine Musgrave and sisters, Glenna Turner and Helen Long.
Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY have been entrusted with his arrangements.
No services or visitation will be scheduled to honor Mr. Musgrave's request.
