Mr. Richard Calvin Treas, age 69 of Benton, KY died on Monday, August 7, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a retired boat mechanic for Jet-A-Marina and a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army, and served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Linda (Linn) Treas of Benton, KY, mother, Betty (Smith) Treas of Benton, KY, sons, Michael Treas, wife Tesha of Benton, KY and James Aaron Treas, wife Keisha of Benton, KY and 4 grandchildren, Hunter and Gage Treas and Stoney and Jack Hendrickson of Benton, KY. Also surviving are one brother, Randy Lee Treas of Hardin, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Treas, son, Ricky Treas, and daughters, Sherry Linn and Karen Lee,
A Graveside funeral service with military rites will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Soldier Creek Cemetery with Rev. George Culp officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
