Mrs. Rhoda Elwanda Riley, 94 of Kirksey, KY passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY.
Born Friday, October 12, 1921 in Warm Springs, AR, she was the daughter of the late Jason Franklin Looney and the late Ida Belle (Johnson) Looney.
She was a homemaker, farmer and was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ and Farmington Church of Christ.
Surviving are son, Jerry Riley, wife Lisa of Kirksey, KY, daughter, Janet Riley of Kirksey, KY, sister, Bonnie Doran of Pocahontas, AR, one granddaughter, Atasha Riley Sharp of Springfield, TN, three great grandchildren, Jacob Riley Sharp, Giovainna Langland and Remington Langland of Springfield, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Olin J. Riley by brothers, Cleo Looney, Robert Looney, Truman Looney and Ulis Looney, sisters, Juanita Nacsin and Thelma Hunter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Stan Little officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Kirksey, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
