Rex Donelson

Mr. Rex E. Donelson, 79, of Murray died July 15, 2016 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Rex was born May 16, 1937 in Murray KY. to the late Euel and Alberta Garland Donelson. He was a retired iron worker having spent 30 years with the Local 25 Union  in Michigan and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Warren, Michigan. Rex was a member of Russell Chapel United Methodist Church and also attended Spring Creek Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Donelson.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette Cope Donelson; a son, Ricky Donelson (Polly) of Adrian Michigan; three daughters, Tina Guffey (JIM of Glasgow Kentucky, Wendy Chatzaras of Walled Lake Michigan and Tina Manion (J.R.) of Hardin Kentucky, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at Fossett Cemetery with Ronnie Burkeen officiating. 

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Monday June 18, 2016 at Imes funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.
