Rebecca “Becky” D. Wentworth, age 65 of Ledbetter, KY, left this earthly home for her eternal home on Monday, March 9, 2020, after a courageous battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome. 

 

Becky was  the daughter of the late Norwood and Dorothy McNeely born on August 3, 1954 in Central City, Ky.  She was a 1972 graduate of Reidland High School. Becky worked for a total of 33 years as a Walmart Associate and retired as Human Resource Manager in July of 2019. Family was above all else her treasure.  She thrived at being a wife, mother, nana and sister.  She was a faithful and caring wife of 41 years and as a mother and nana she made each child feel individually special.  She was an encourager, counselor, cheerleader and gave tirelessly to being a part of her family’s lives. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Wentworth; four children, Kelly Seay and husband Greg of Paducah, KY, Pamela Buford and husband Richi of Warrensburg, MO, Michael Wentworth and wife Teri of Paducah, KY, Matthew Wentworth and wife Javanne of Bardwell, KY; her grandchildren, Corey Buford, Austin Buford, Jon Wentworth, Kaitlin Smith, Logan Wentworth, Karlie Wentworth, Dillon Wentworth and Garrett Seay; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Graycen and Baylor; a brother, Tommy McNeely and wife, Marlene of Madisonville, KY.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norwood and Dorothy McNeely of Paducah, KY and her nephew, Ryan Thomas McNeely of White Plains, Ky.

 

The family cordially invites you to attend a Celebration of Becky’s Life on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5 – 8pm at Drake Creek Golf Course in Ledbetter, Ky.

 

Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Kentucky Chapter 6100 Dutchman’s Lane Suite 401 Louisville, KY 40205, an organization close to Becky’s heart or the MDS Foundation at www.mds-foundation.org , the disease that took her from us all too soon.
