Mrs. Patsy Deboe Canup, age 68, of Paducah, KY died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Born Tuesday, June 1, 1948 in Paducah, KY, she was a member of Free Spirit Church and was a nurse at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Canup is survived by her husband Johnny Canup of Paducah, KY; sons, Eddie Averitt of Brookport, IL and David Averitt of Paducah, KY, daughter, Michelle Averitt Doom of Benton, KY; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and brother, Jerry Deboe of Paducah, KY.
Mrs. Canup was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Deboe and sister Susie Deboe. Her parents were the late William Miley and Margaret Isabella (Jones) Deboe.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Bro, Dennis Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Gore Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home 211 W 5th St; Benton, KY 42025.
