Nell Eudora Dotson, age 89, of Kirksey, KY, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Dotson was a homemaker and was a member of Kirksey United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Kirksey United Methodist Women.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse L McNeely and the late Molly (Lovett) McNeely. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Dotson Jr., two sons: Tom Dotson and James Dotson, three brothers: James Aurthor McNeely, Earl McNeely, and Alford McNeely, and one sister: Rosemary Byars.
She is survived by two sons: Tim Dotson and wife Kim of Calvert City, KY, Ted Dotson of Murray, KY, two brothers: Roy Leon McNeely of FL, Frank McNeely of Benton, KY, one granddaughter: Michele Morris of Gilbertsville, KY, two great grandchildren: Molly and Hudson Morris of Gilbertsville, KY, and one step great grandchild: Keela Thweatt of Benton, KY.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2017. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 30, 2017, with Rev. Mark Earhart officiating. Interment will be at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
