Ms. Magdalene "Maggie" Henson, age 79 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. She was a self-employed private duty nurse and was of the Baptist Faith.
Born Monday, November 7, 1938 in Marshall County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Mary (Reid) Breezeel.
Surviving are children, Kenny Henson, wife Deidra of Benton, KY, Belinda Blakney of Benton, KY, Cindy Sanchez, husband Arnold of Utah, Rhondia Cox, husband Robert of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Heather Marshall, husband Chris, Lynette Dukes, husband John, Kendall Blakney, Matthew Henson, Meagan O'Bryan, husband Clinton, Crystal Neuffer, husband Seth, Courtney Coomer, husband BT, step-grandchildren, Ashley Cox and Matthew Cox, great grandchildren, Parker Estes, Dawson Estes, Chloee Marshall, Michael Dukes, John Kyler Dukes, Nathan Blakney, Kolby Blakney, Kelsie Blakney, Emily Henson, Landon Henson, Levi Henson, Hunter O'Bryan, Bristol O'Bryan, Maxton Gray, and step great-grandchildren, Josh Marshall, Ian Marshall, and Caleb Jeffers, Anthony Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Adrianna Sanchez and Amber Sanchez. Also surviving are sisters, Lena Jo Taylor of Benton, KY, Katerine Coursey of Benton, KY, and Geraldine Barnes of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchild, Jarrod Mills, and sister, Betty Jean Breezeel.
A public visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 AM to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025.
A private funeral service will be held.
Interment will be in the Ford Cemetery, Benton, KY.
