Martha Sue Swansey, 85, of Benton, KY passed away at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Detroit, MI and worked as a waitress.
She is survived by her son, Philenus McKinley Westbay of Murray, KY; daughter, Michele Peek of Paducah, KY; brother, Phillip Allen of Hickory, KY; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Swansey and three brothers. Her parents were McKinley Allen and Beulah Speed Allen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Cude officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April, 17, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
