Mrs. Louise Kitchens, 86, of Salem, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Kitchens was a homemaker and a member of Pinckneyville Baptist Church, where she had played the piano for more than 60 years. She enjoyed singing, cooking, sewing, and had a special love for her family.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years; Jack Kitchens of Salem; daughters, Jacque Kent of Calvert City and Terry (Jerry) Day of Salem; sons, Ronnie (Connie) Kitchens, Randy (Diana) Kitchens and David (Penny) Kitchens, all of Salem; sister, Faye Vanhooser of Newburg IN; brother, Tommy Wring of Salem; 11 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Wring and her parents, Jim and Gladys Patton Wring.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Pinckneyville Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pinckneyville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2018, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem and from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at Pinckneyville Baptist Church.
