Mrs. Lena Pearl Donohoo, age 86 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Little Cypress Baptist Church where she was a faithful member, Deacon's wife, and member of the WMU.
Born Friday, May 23, 1930 in Marshall County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ocie (Thompson) York.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Prentice Donohoo of Calvert City, KY, sons, Mike Donohoo, wife Carolyn of Benton, KY and Edwin Donohoo, wife Mitzi of Benton, KY, daughter, Belinda Stevenson, husband Robert of Gilbertsville, KY, sister, Cora Uzzle of Calvert City, KY; 4 grand children, Stacy Moore, husband Josh of Benton, KY, Andrew Donohoo, wife Ashley of Murray, KY, Sawyer Donohoo, wife Stephanie of Benton, KY, Shelby Donohoo, fiance' Dustin Henderson of Benton, KY and 4 great-grandchildren, Ava and Claire Moore, Jax Coleman, and Parker Donohoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by brothers, Paul York, Charlie York, Wavil York, Virgil York, Lawrence York and Gene York, and sisters, Eunice Tatum, Helen Culp and Ruthie Ford.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Pastor Patrick Gerwitz officiating.
Burial will follow in the Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
