Mr. Larry Thomas "Crash" Warren, age 74 of Benton, KY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, the home of his daughter in Reidland, KY.
Born Wednesday, February 3, 1943 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late Thomas L. Warren and the late Dorothy (Travis) Warren. He was a retired Iron Worker with local 782 of Paducah, KY. He was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and a guide for hunting clubs in Ballard County, KY. He was employed through U.S. Steel in Gary, IN in the 1960's and 1970's, he was a pipefitter welder for local 597 in Chicago, IL. He was also a welder for the electrician local 697 in Hammond, IN. He was an airplane pilot in the 1970's and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
Surviving his daughter, Sherry Roberts, husband Todd of Paducah, KY, son Marc A. Hartline of FL. one brother, Fred W. Warren of Fischer, IN, one sister, Laura Warren Trial of Chesterton, IN., four grandchildren, Justin Roberts, wife Kaitlyn, Chandler Roberts, Jordan Hartline, and Destiny Hartline.
Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sharon K. Warren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon on Friday, April 14, 2017 until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
