Ms. Lanie Amanda Nicole Gray, 19, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Lanie was born on December 27, 1999 in Murray, KY to Malissa Gray. She graduated from Calloway County High School in 2018 and was employed at Rotech Healthcare in Murray. Preceding her in death is a brother, Aaron Gray. Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Gary and Malissa Sims of Murray; a brother, Thomas Groves; four sisters, Yamaany Sims, Aaliyah Sims, Henley Sims and Aubrey Deines; a grandmother, Linda Gray and grandfather, James B. McGee. The funeral service for Lanie is set for 2 PM on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Sammy Cunningham will officiate and burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 12 PM-2 PM at the Heritage Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to help her family with burial expenses, C/O Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, 311 N. 4th Street, Murray.
