Mrs. Judy Beth Hicks, 70 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky died on Friday, October 17, 2014, at 12:30 a.m. at her home. She was retired as the owner of Judy's Fishing Depot. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Born Thursday, June 2, 1944 in Briensburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Willis McKendree and the late Mary Elizabeth (Franklin) McKendree.
Surviving are her husband, George Hicks of Gilbertsville, KY; daughters, Jill Treece, husband Dave of Gilbertsville, KY and Joy O'Connell, husband Glen of Benton, KY, step-son, Chad Hicks of Benton, KY; brothers, Willis McKendree, wife Dianne of Benton, KY and Ricky McKendree, wife Becky of Benton, KY, sister, Connie Ethridge, husband Billy Pat of Benton, KY; and grandchildren, Jordon Villines of Brooklyn, NY, Kinsey Smith, husband Justin of Gilbertsville, KY, Payton O'Connell of Benton, KY, Paige O'Connell of Amherst, Ohio, Kailey Hicks of Benton, KY, Dawson Hicks of Benton, KY; and great-grandchild, Brittyn Smith of Gilbertsville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patsy McKendree.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Kyle Reeder and Rev. Calvin Wilkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home.
