Mr. Joseph Ray Hall, age 81, of Calvert City, KY, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016, at his residence in Calvert City, KY. He was a member of Calvert City Church of Christ, a charter member of the Calvert City Country Club. Mr. Hall was retired from Elf Atochem and Arkema where he worked as a supervisor. He was a Instrument Mechanic. He was the youngest of 9 children, and an avid UK Fan.
He was the son of the late Louis Hall and the late Vada (Faith) Hall.
He is survived by his very special friend, Janice Devine; daughter, Gina Carol Turner of Paducah, KY, son, Joseph Greg Hall, wife Debbie of Paducah, KY, sister: Virginia Hancock of Paducah, KY; and 2 grandchildren, Andrea Lynn Hughes, husband Justin and Adam Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert, Dick, Harold, and Charles Hall; and sisters, Edna Adams, Katherine Doyle, and Jean McLemore.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
Funeral service will be held Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 with Lance Cordle officiating.
Interment will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
