John Wayne Wilson
Mr. John Wayne Wilson, age 82 of Benton, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, Paducah, KY. He was retired from Air Products where he worked in the Maintenance Department.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Janice (Heath) Wilson of Benton, KY, daughters, Debbie Moore of Paducah, KY, Kim Thomas, husband Rodney of Burlington, KY, sister, Barbara Johnson, husband Keith of Sharpe, KY, sister-in-law, Donna Shelton of Calvert City, KY, 4 grandchildren, Leslie Lovett, husband J.P. of Calvert City, KY, Cassie Johnson, husband David of Lone Oak, KY, Jason Thomas, wife Maria of Burlington, KY, Emily Thomas of Burlington, KY and 1 great-grandchild, Cody Johnson of Lone Oak, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Rosie (Farmer) Wilson and brothers, Jimmy Wilson and William Wilson.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025, Rev. Ryan Heatherly and Jeff Cox officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fooks Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home.
