Joe Bob Canup, 64 of Calvert City, KY died on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Born Friday, September 5, 1952 in Paducah, KY. He was the son of the late Charles Canup and the late Betty Osborne Canup. He was the husband of Kathy Edwards Canup.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from TVA. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Canup of Calvert City; one son, Wesley Canup of Calvert City; two brothers, Charlie Canup of Benton, KY, Keith Canup of Nashville, TN; and one sister, Katie Harris of Benton, KY.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Father Anthoni Ottagan officiating. Interment will be in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
