Jason Burkeen, 40 of Murray, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at his residence . He was born August 3, 1977 in Murray, KY and was a member of the Bell City Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James D. and Ima Nell Burkeen and Charles and Dean Stephenson. He is survived by his father, Ricky (Tammy) Burkeen of Benton; his mother, Terie Frederick of Murray; son, Elijah Burkeen of Murray; three brothers, Zachary (Kara) of Benton, Michael Burkeen of Murray and Wesley Burkeen of Benton and best friend Carrie Griffith of Murray. A memorial service is scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray.
