Mrs. Janice Marie Dunbar Harris, 67, of Salem, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mrs. Harris was born April 6, 1952 to John and Betty Jennings Dunbar in Providence, KY. Her family was dear to her and she enjoyed being in their presence and involved in their activities. Playing bingo and fishing with her late husband were among her favorite activities.
She is survived by two daughters, Carla Harris (Donnie) and Marcy Shuecraft (Wesley) both of Salem; one son, Troy Harris (Sheri) of Grand Rivers; one sister, Shelia Binkley of Marion; four grandchildren, Daniel Harris (Makayla) of Salem, Blake Shuecraft (Abby) of Mayfield, Brittany Harris of Salem, Tori Harris of Grand Rivers; and two great grandchildren, Raelyn Harris and Remi Shuecraft.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl “Denny” Harris; sister, Rosemary Beverly; brother, Johnny Dunbar; grandchildren, (twins) Clayton and Drake Harris; and her parents.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro’s Tim Fouts and Bill Baker to officiate. Burial will follow in Lola Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
