Mrs. Janet Harrison, age 87 of Hardin, KY died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY. She was a retired teacher for Paducah City Schools and was a member of Olive United Methodist Church.
Born Tuesday, November 3, 1931 in Hardin, KY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Scoggins and the late Dona (Warren) Scoggins.
Surviving are sons, Kerry Parker of Hardin, KY, Steve Harrison of Hardin, KY and Barry Harrison of Hardin, KY, daughters, Kathy Harrison of Hardin, KY and Rita Underwood of Almo, KY; 6 grand children; 2 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Robert Harrison, and son, Ray Parker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Rick Miller will officiate.
Interment will follow in Barnett Cemetery, Hardin, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
