Mr. James “Jimmy” Bruce Jones, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Jones was born on November 29, 1943, in Milan, Tennessee to the late Max A. Jones and Eunice L. (Miller) Jones. He was retired from Southern Source in Milan, Tennessee and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann (Murray) Jones; one sister, Judy Jones; one brother, Jerry Jones; as well as one grandson, Levi Jones.
Survivors include two sons, Derek Jones and wife Stacy of Murray, Kentucky and Dexter Jones and wife Rosalyn of Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Vicki Brawley and husband Ronald of Clarksville, Tennessee; as well as two grandchildren, Chloe and Keegan.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the Poplar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Atwood, Tennessee. Derek Jones and John Dale will officiate. There will be no public visitation held.
