Mrs. Helen Louise Dukes, age 73 of Calvert City, KY., passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, her home.
Born Monday, October 6, 1941 in Denver, CO. She was the wife of the late Carl E. Dukes. She was a homemaker and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving her country during the Vietnam Conflict. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Surviving are two sons, Brian C. Dukes of Lebanon, OH and John E. Dukes of Calvert City, KY, two sisters, Laura Dittbrenner of Spokane, WA and Bertha Dorsey of CO., three grandchildren, Nathanial Dukes of Lebanon, OH., John Dukes of Calvert City, KY., and Michael Dukes also of Calvert City, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie L. Dorsey and Hazel Vandalia (McKinster) Dorsey, and her husband, Carl E. Dukes.
There will be no public services or public visitation scheduled at this time.
Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY has been entrusted with her care.
