Mrs. Hazel Laverne (Colson) Underhill, age 78 of Olive, KY went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, December 11, 2014. She was a retired seamstress at Landolt Limted and member of Hardin Pentecostal Church of God.
She is survived by one sister, Patricia Smith of Mayfield, KY and brother, Bill Colson of Sharpe, KY.
While she had no children, she had a close niece, Debbie Henson of Benton, KY and nephew, Brad Henson of Olive, KY. She also had several great nieces and nephews that she thought of as grandchildren. She was also close to her caregiver, Kayla Greene.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rimon Colson, mother, Lucy Belle (Flood) Colson, husband, Roscoe Underhill, and sisters, Genella Jones and Mildred Culver.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Marilyn Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Pace Cemetery, Hardin, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Collier Funeral Home.
