Faye Angell Shelton, 92, of Paducah passed away at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab. Faye was a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church and served as church organist for over 50 years. Faye was a native of Cobden, Illinois and a homemaker.
Faye is survived by her sons, William (Eddie) Shelton Jr. of Paducah and Tom Shelton and wife, Sharon of Sharpe, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Frances Shelton, William (Buck) Shelton, Matt Shelton and wife, Anna, all of Paducah, Melissa Shelton of Sharpe, Kentucky and Stony Douthitt and wife, Jodi; one brother, Fred Angell and wife, Bonnie of Gilroy, California and one sister, Joanne Angell Teagarden and husband, Dwight of Lawrenceville, Georgia; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was husband, William E. (Bill) Shelton; one son, Jonathan Shelton; parents, Lester Angell and Margaret Cavaness Angell.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time of 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
