Mrs. Eedra Ardee Dossett, age 100 of Benton, KY died on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the Calvert City Church of Christ.
Born Saturday, April 7, 1917 in Gilbertsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Earl Hall and the late Lula (Ford) Hall.
Surviving are sons, James Neal Dossett, wife Joyce of Gilbertsville, KY and William Earl Dossett, wife Betsy of Phoenix, AZ, daughters, Jean Stern, husband James of Benton, KY, Donna Elaine Smith, husband David of Calvert City, KY and Mary Pat Goodman of Gilbertsville, KY; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnett Neal Dossett, brother, Ray Thomas Hall, and sister, Earlene Atnip.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Lance Cordle officiating.
Interment will follow in Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
