Mrs. Dottie L. Farris, 77, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray. Mrs. Farris was born on October 14, 1942 in Calloway County to the late Virgil and Dorothy Nell Moore Farris. In 1986 she graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelors of Science degree. Mrs. Farris retired as a Nurses Aide from Murray Calloway County Hospital and was a member of New Concord Church of Christ. Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include a brother, Ronald G. Farris of Benton, Kentucky; three sisters, Audrey Farris of Mayfield, Kentucky, Glenna Gant and husband Phillip of Murray, Kentucky and Marietta Blanchard and husband Al of Charleston, New Hampshire. The funeral service for Mrs. Farris is set for 2 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, 311 North 4th Street, Murray Kentucky. John Dale will officiate and burial will follow at Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM - 2 PM at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, 311 North 4th Street, Murray, Kentucky.
