Donald Louis “Jimmy” Nuckolls, 81, of Paducah passed away at 8:09 AM Friday, November 25, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Nuckolls was a retired Educator, Industrial Arts Teacher at Jetton Jr. High School, Carpentry Instructor for Paducah Tilghman High School, Principal at the Paducah Area Vocational School, a program coordinator for Purchase Area Vocational Schools, member of the Paducah/McCracken County Retired Teachers Association, member of the NRA, and a member of the Reidland Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nova (Long) Nuckolls of Reidland; five sons, Tim Nuckolls, Jerry Nuckolls, Mike Nuckolls, Dennis Moscoe, Marklan Spivey; four daughters, Beth Kirby, Becky Nuckolls, Sandra Moscoe, Jo Spivey; one sister, Linda Severns; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Nuckols and Mary (Rohrer) Nuckols; one brother, Thomas Nuckolls.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Terrell Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Sharpe Church of Christ Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5:00 PM Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the funeral home.
