Clyde Phillips, 80 of Hardin, Kentucky died on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of the UFCW Local 135.
Born Saturday, May 26, 1934 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Eli Phillips and the late Mary (Bob) Long. He was the husband of the late Reba Maxine (Burdette) Phillips.
Surviving are sons, Timothy Phillips of Hardin, KY, Ricky Lee Burns of Riverside, CA, Thomas Clyde Phillips of Vallejo, CA and Michael Thomas Phillips of Mayfield, KY, daughters, Nikki Phillips of Paducah, KY and Mona Staggs of Daytona Beach, FL, brothers, Tony Phillips of CA and Vernon Phillips of Emmitt, CA, sister, Martha Gibbs of Odessa, TX; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughters, Vicky Burns, Connie Burns and Johnna Green, brother, Dosie Victor Phillips, and sister, Agnes Leslie.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Jack Kee officiating.
Interment will follow in Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.
Visitation will be held after 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
