Charles Louis "Charlie" Fagan, 93 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Benton, KY, died on Monday, March 9, 2015, at Trevecca Health and Rehab in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a retired postal carrier for the US Postal Service. Mr. Fagan was a veteran of the US Navy and served during World War II. He was a member of Trevecca Community Church and former member of Southland Baptist Temple where he was a Sunday School Teacher for 42 years.

Born Wednesday, June 15, 1921 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Thomas Fagan and the late Evelyn Fagan.

Surviving are his daughter, Judy Smith of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Treston Smith of Gilbertsville, KY, Taylor Smith of Eddyville, KY; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Lucille (McElhaney) Fagan; and 1 brother.

A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Tyner's Chapel Cemetery, Crittenden County, Kentucky.

No public visitation is scheduled.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Southland Baptist Temple Junior Department, 927 Yarbro Lane, Paducah, KY 42003.
