Mr. Billie "Bill" Dwain Jackson, age 71, of Benton, KY died on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Born Thursday, December 20, 1945 in Benton, KY, he was a retired Engineer for Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex . He also served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son, Jeff Jackson wife Gloria of Princeton, KY, daughter, Jill Guill husband Terry of Paducah, KY, grandchildren, Samuel Guill, Reese Guill, Dylan Jackson, and Daisy Guill, and sister, Sharon Jackson of Benton, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Baker and Janet Ross. He was the son of the late Floyd and Irene Breezeel Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Benton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
