Mr. Arvis Nimmo, age 79 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was a retired auto painter for LWD and a member of Kirksey Church of Christ.
Born Friday, August 18, 1939 in Birmingham, KY, he was the son of the late Lloyd Nimmo and the late Nettie (Collins) Nimmo.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Nancy (Tucker) Nimmo of Benton, KY, son, Michael Nimmo, wife Lindsey of Benton, KY, daughter, Carolyn Tinsley of Murray, KY; 5 grandchildren; Jason Walker, wife Whittnee of Melber, KY, Brandon Walker of Benton, KY, David Nimmo of Lexington, KY, Hailey Nimmo of Grand Rivers, KY, his special little buddy, Luke Nimmo of Benton, KY and 1 great-granddaughter Jaycee Walker of Melber, KY..
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mason Nimmo, and grandchild, Lex Walker.
The family asks for privacy during this time.
