Annie Mae Cole Linson, 79, of Metropolis, passed away
on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation in
Metropolis.
Mrs. Linson was born in Grove, LA on December 11, 1939
to Willie Lee and Lucille Vines Cole. She
worked at Massac Memorial Hospital and was a faithful member of the Nazarene
Church in Metropolis. She enjoyed
reading and watching the Hallmark channel.
Mrs. Linson is survived by her son, Jerry Boney and
wife Sherry of Metropolis; four grandchildren, Josh Linson of Metropolis,
Jeremiah Linson of Metropolis, Joseph Boney and wife Misty of Galatia, and
Rachel Boney of Vienna; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Payton; one stepbrother,
Tommy Cole and wife Kathy; and one step-sister, Faye Risinger and husband Troy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Linson;
one stepson, Jim Linson; three siblings, John William Cole, Robert Franklin
Cole, and Alfred Anderson Cole.
Friends may visit the family from 10:00am - 12:00pm on
Friday, August 27, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Friday at
Metropolis Memorial Gardens in Metropolis with the Rev. Bill Talley
officiating.
