Mr. Stanley “Steamer” Ross Long, 56, of Marion, KY, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home after a long illness.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Long of Marion, KY; four brothers, Wayne (Lori) Long of Ledbetter, KY, Steve Long of Salem, KY, Robert Long, Ronald Long, of Marion, KY; two sisters, Janice (Mike) Johnston of Hopkinsville, KY and Teresa (Scott) Kayse of Marion, KY; aunts, Connie Cowan of Marion, KY, Bonnie Penn of Owensboro, KY, and Sue Belt of Marion, KY; uncles, Terry Young of Salem, KY, and Stanley Young of Marion, KY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Long; maternal grandparents, Johnie and Annie Young; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Gertie (Waddell) Long; aunt, June Driver Norman; and other aunts and uncles.
Graveside Services will be 4:30 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Salem Cemetery in Salem, KY with interment to follow.
Friends may visit from 4 to 4:30 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
