Mrs. Phyllis Kay Van Metre, age 60 of Benton, KY passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her home.
Born Monday, July 30, 1956 in Benton, KY, she was a retired waitress and was a member of Lake City Baptist Church.
Surviving are husband, David Van Metre of Benton, KY, her children, son Brian Van Metre, wife LeeAnn of Calvert City, KY, daughter, Stephanie Doucet, husband Mike of Calvert City, KY, son, William "Bill" Van Metre, wife Shelly of Angier, NC, daughter, Lori Hollos, husband David of Windsor, CO, brother, Billy Jo "Jody" Moneymaker of Calvert City, KY, sister, Linda Pinnegar of Calvert City, KY, sister, Gail Hauschild, husband Danny of Kuttawa, KY, ten grandchildren; Landan Walters, wife Alissa of Calvert City, KY, Dylan Walters of Benton, KY, Brandon and Peyton Van Metre of Calvert City, KY, Austin, Lillyan, Camden and Brenden Van Metre all of Angier, NC, Jacob and Blake Hollos of Windsor, CO.
She was preceded in death by sister, Debbie Greer, her parents, the late Randolph and the late Hazel (Koon) Moneymaker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Bro. Chris Moore will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Dixon Cemetery, Grand Rivers, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
