Mr. Norman G. Bradford, age 87, of Calvert City, KY passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

He was born on Saturday, June 27, 1931 in McCracken Co., KY to the late Rosie (Gipson) Bradford and the late Carlos Bradford. He was a graduate of Heath High School, class of 1950. By trade, he was a Pipefitter and Welder. He worked at the Union Carbide plant in Calvert City, KY for 9 years, later working and retiring after 29 years of service from the G.A.F. Materials plant in Calvert City, KY. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Car Club of West KY, also a charter member of West Kentucky Model A Restorers Club.

Norman was a strong believer in the Lord and attended Calvert City Church of Christ. He was a member of two Antique Car Clubs and met a lot of good people through them. He was very passionate in his old cars. One club called him the "mechanic of the club" as he could always work on a car and get it running order.

He honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan (Morehead) Bradford of Calvert City, KY; grandchild; Wesley Bradford, step-grandchildren, Andy Floyd, wife Samantha, Ashley Comiskey, Donnie Egner; step-great grandchildren, Genevieve Naomi Floyd, Xander Bronn Comiskey, Don Egner, III, Charlie Egner and Gwendolyn Floyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gregory Glenn "Gregg" Bradford; step-son, Donald Ray Egner; step-daughter, Susan Floyd; sister, Ruth Randolph.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Lance Cordle will officiate.

Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.

Friends may visit with the family after 10:00 a.m. on June 5, 2019 until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Bradford's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
