Maretta "Redy" Hubbard

Mrs. Maretta "Redy" Hubbard, age 96 of Calvert City, KY died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. Born Sunday, September 5, 1920 in Lyon County, KY, she was the former owner of F&H Motel in Lake City and a charter member of Lake City Baptist Church.



Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her son, Glenn Hubbard and wife Mary Ann of Livingston County, KY, daughter, Jean Walker of Grand Rivers, KY, sisters, Johnnie Mae Wells of Graves County, KY, Mary Ruggles of Grand Rivers, KY; 6 grandchildren, Cindy Carney Mills, Kevin Walker, Tammy Sayle, Jonathan Hubbard, Elisha Harp and Eric Hubbard; 10 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hodges, Shauna Johnson, Jacob Sayle, Bobby Sayle, Joshua Hubbard, Sidney Hubbard, Colby Cooper, Carlie Cooper, Chase Cooper and Dayton Hubbard; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Jorden Schrump, Landon Johnson, Luke Johnson and Chloe Johnson; and son-in-law Delmus Walker.



Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband Arvie Floyd Hubbard, son Lynn Hubbard, daughter Juanita Walker, great-grandson Cody Cooper, brother W.E. Foley and son-in-law Cleveland Walker. Her parents were the late Jethro and Nona (Higgins) Foley.



Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Paradise Cemetery in Grand Rivers, KY with Dwayne Driskill officiating. Burial will follow services.



There will be no public visitation for Mrs. Hubbard.



Collier Funeral Home have been entrusted to handle arrangements.
