Starks, Kenneth

Mr. Kenneth Wade "Pops" Starks, 71, of Murray, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. Kenneth was born November 30, 1944 in Calloway County to the late Neal and Kathleen Gore Starks. He was a member of Almo Church of Christ and co-owned and operated Stark's Brothers Mobile Homes for 41 years with his brother, Glen. Kenneth was an avid UK Wildcat basketball fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Donna Hargis Starks of Murray; two sons, Kirk Starks (Gay) of Dexter, Kris Starks (Melinda) of Murray; a brother, Glen Starks (Marilyn) of Almo; three grandchildren, Colby Starks (Angelique), Meagan Starks and Dillon Starks (Jessica); two great grandchildren, Brantley Starks and Penelope Starks. Funeral services are set for 12:30 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 SR 121 N. Bypass, Murray. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 9-12:30 Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Heritage Chapel.
