Ms. Julia Edwards, age 68, of Benton, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She worked as a bookkeeper at Benton True Value Hardware. She was also a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.
Born Saturday, February 24, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Avery Glen Edwards and the late Hattie (Darnall) Edwards.
Surviving is her sister, Geneva (Edwards) Washburn of Benton, KY; Sister in law Patsy Edwards and Ruth Edwards and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Lee "Spike" Edwards, James Franklin Edwards and Avery Dale Edwards.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Walnut Grove Cemetery with David Myers officiating.
Interment is to follow the service at the cemetery.
